Zirconium Steel Welded pipe and Tube

There is a chemical element that is called zirconium with symbol Zr and atomic number 40. It is taken from the name zircon. It is used as a refractory. Also the small amounts are used as an alloying agent for strong resistance to corrosion. It has no biological role. It forms a variety of inorganic and organometallic compounds that is zirconium dioxide.

Uses of Zirconium
The metal is used in the nuclear industry for cladding fuel elements as it has low absorption cross section for neutrons. Many common acids and alkalis are resistant to corrosion. It is used as alloying agent in steel and making surgical appliances. This metal has a low temperature, so it is used to make superconductor magnets. It is used in vacuum tubes, explosive primers and flash bulbs for photography. It is also used in laboratory and by glass or ceramic industries as rebuilt material.
